At Sonho we keep things simple, and that goes for your data too. This page explains what we collect when you visit sonho.be or get in touch, why, and what you can ask of us.

What we collect and why

Your e-mail and what you write to us. To answer your question, based on our legitimate interest in replying to you. We keep it for up to 2 years after our last contact.

Technical data of your visit (IP address, browser, pages viewed). To keep the website running and secure, based on our legitimate interest in a safe website. Kept as long as our website host needs it for that purpose.

Visitor statistics (counts of visits and pages). To see what our guests look for, only with your consent via the cookie banner. Kept for up to 2 years.

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who helps us

Our website runs on Squarespace. Squarespace processes data on our behalf and may store it outside the EU, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Links to Instagram and Google Maps take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a usable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for cookies via "Cookie Preferences" at the bottom of the page. Just e-mail management@sonho.be and we'll reply within one month.

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser keeps when you visit a website. We only use the ones our website needs to work, plus visitor statistics if you say yes. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels.
